Mughal Paintings

I was fascinated by how landscapes are portrayed in Mughal Miniature paintings from the Mughal Empire (16th to 18th centuries). There is a flatness and a fantasy quality that appealed to me. I incorporated those qualities and took inspiration to create a series of paintings.
